A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
True love.
The truth.

This is really hard to give a review on because I’m not even going to mention any characters name or the premise because you HAVE TO have to HAVE TO have to go into this knowing nothing. Absolutely nothing.
The plot twist though – I did not see that coming. And I’m usually THAT person who is like “oh yeah, I figured out the plot twist in the very first chapter so yeah..”. Mind-blowing.
My brain is in pieces laying next to the shattered remains of my heart on the floor.
Figuratively speaking, of course.
This may be my favorite book that I’ve read so far this year. Well, maybe tied. It’s definitely up there.
Just UGHHH so wonderful.
After finishing it, I immediately flipped it back over and reread the first two chapters to figure how the hell did I miss that.

Read it. Lie about the ending.
