Hey friends! One of my favorite activities while traveling (and also while doing anything) is listening to music and podcasts. Before I go on a trip, I love to create a playlist on Spotify and plan all the podcasts I will listen to. It’s such a calming routine to me that gets me even more excited for a vacation.. or cleaning the house. So I thought I’d share some of the best podcasts to listen to while traveling! Once you’re done reading, don’t forget to tell me what your favorite podcasts are!

The Best Podcasts to Listen to While Traveling
Ladies Who Lunch
Ladies Who Lunch gives you a seat at the table with YouTubers Ingrid Nilsen and Cat Valdes while they explore topics often left out of polite conversation such as sex, relationships, social phobias and more. They approach life’s dilemmas with compassion and a sense of humor.
I’ve been hooked on this Podcast ever since Ingrid Nilsen first announced it. It’s unbelievably honest and it keeps you hooked from the very first episode. Plus their voices are so relaxing that it keeps me calm during in-flight turbulence so that’s a plus.
My Favorite Episode: Introverts in an Extroverted World
We Recommend Reading: How To Fly Even When You're Scared Of Flying
Guys We Fucked
Guys We Fucked: The Anti Slut-Shaming Podcast is a weekly self-produced podcast during which Corinne and Krystyna interview men they’ve slept with and titans in the comedy and sex industry, discuss sexual taboos, and create a sex-positive environment for their million plus listeners worldwide.
Honestly, this is one of the best podcasts ever created. Corinne and Krystyna are fucking hilarious and I constantly finding myself say ‘you go girl’. When I listen to this, you bet I’m that crazy woman who’s laughing very loudly at seemingly nothing during a flight.
My Favorite Episode: You Took Your Own Virginity?
My Favorite Murder
Ready yourself for a murder adventure hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark, two lifelong fans of true crime stories. Each episode the girls tell each other their favorite tales of murder and hear hometown crime stories from friends and fans. Check your anxiety at the door, ’cause Karen & Georgia are dying to discuss death.
My FAVORITE guilty pleasure is watching true crime documentaries and reading true crime novels so I was so happy when I discovered this podcast. Within a few minutes of the first episode, I knew I had a new favorite podcast.
My Favorite Episode: Thirteen Going On Murdy
Serial is a podcast from the creators of This American Life, hosted by Sarah Koenig. This podcast tells one story—a true story—over the course of a season. A high-school senior named Hae Min Lee disappeared one day after school in 1999, in Baltimore County, Maryland. A month later, her body was found in a city park. She’d been strangled. Her 17-year-old ex-boyfriend, Adnan Syed, was arrested for the crime, and within a year, he was sentenced to life in prison. The case against him was largely based on the story of one witness, Adnan’s friend Jay, who testified that he helped Adnan bury Hae’s body. But Adnan has always maintained he had nothing to do with Hae’s death. Some people believe he’s telling the truth. Many others don’t.
Dun Dun Duuuuuun. I’m sure that if you ask anyone what their favorite podcasts are, this one is probably on their list. And I’m no exception.
My Favorite Episode: N/A
S-Town is a new podcast from Serial and This American Life, hosted by Brian Reed, about a man named John who despises his Alabama town and decides to do something about it. He asks Brian to investigate the son of a wealthy family who’s allegedly been bragging that he got away with murder. But then someone else ends up dead, and the search for the truth leads to a nasty feud, a hunt for hidden treasure, and an unearthing of the mysteries of one man’s life.
This one is a new one on my favorite lists – as it was only just released lol and I’m only two chapters in. BUT, I’m already obsessed. And I’m looking forward to my 13-hour flight to London so I can binge listen to this.
My Favorite Episode: N/A
While these aren’t necessarily travel related podcasts, I consider these the best podcasts to listen to and I hope you enjoyed! What are some of your favorite podcasts?
