Hey friends! Today, I thought I would talk about my very first experience traveling abroad… to Mexico. Mexico is a common vacation destination around here and for good reason. It’s hot and sunny year round and the beaches are absolutely gorgeous. While there are a plethora of places to visit, I’m specifically going to talk about Cabo San Lucas. And even more specifically, the best places to eat and drink in Cabo San Lucas. I believe that the local food here is among the best in the world and here’s what I recommend you checking out during your visit.
The Best Places To Eat And Drink In Cabo San Lucas
This is hands down the best food we ate on our vacation. Like, it was better than the fancy restaurant I named below. You get a large portion of food for really cheap. I got regular tacos with chicken (if I remember correctly) and it was only like $2 for three of them! I ended up ordering three servings – they were THAT good. If you eat anywhere in Cabo, eat here. Fun fact, we ate here while Hurricane Linda was making her way closer to shore and we got quite the show…One of these places is so delicious, this travel blogger ate there during a hurricane! Cabo Wabo Cantina
Obviously, I had to throw this in here, it’s a classic and one of the most popular nightclubs in Cabo. I even got out of my shell enough to dance on the elevated stage! The alcohol I consumed definitely helped, but it was still a blast and I’m glad I did that. They also have a delicious house-made tequila.. that led to dancing on the stage.
Puerto San Lucas
Even though it says “casual dress” on their website, this place is far too fancy for casual wear. Not black tie fancy but you definitely need to dress up a little. I ordered the lasagna because I’m a sucker for it and it was SO good. Other people ordered the Capris Salad and that looked bomb dot com. And definitely, order some seafood because there’s no better place to get it.
The Nowhere Bar
This is one of the most famous bars in Cabo and for good reason: the staff members are very personable and the drinks are delicious and strong. I haven’t tried the food (or I don’t remember trying the food) but I’m sure it’s pretty good. A quick look at their menu shows they serve Japanese cuisine and Mexican cuisine.
If you want the best view at any restaurant in Cabo, definitely come here. It’s right on the beach so it’s a great place to people watch (if you like to creep on people like I do). And it has a good balance between a party scene and a relaxed beach vacation. Plus the food is pretty good – get the fish tacos or shrimp.
